I apologize for not posting. I’ve had some writer’s block, and also I’ve been looking for a job (not successful thus far). We’ve had more than four feet of snow here thus far, and it’s been very, very cold (although not as cold as when I lived in Minnesota for one winter). Yucko.
What I have been doing is reading a book by K.M. Weiland, Outlining Your Novel: Map Your Way to Success. It was recommended by Impromptu Promptlings’ Writing Resources page. It is not your typical outlining book, and as a matter of fact, I love it! It’s giving me so many ideas for the stories running around in my head. I highly recommend it if you need some new perspectives on writing.
Back to the drawing board….
Oh! I am SO glad you’re liking it. That’s how I wrote my novel in 30 days during NaNoWriMo in 2013.

I am LOVING this book. I’ve thought about getting her other book about structuring your novel.

You’d like that one, too. I found them both really helpful.

And, btw, good luck on the job hunting front.

Thanks! It’s been depressing and frustrating. As to the book, I was an editor, and I’ve read books on writing (most notably, Stephen King’s book), but nothing like this. I have found it very informative!
